Reservation
Please select the Reservation button from the top menu, fill the form and submit.
Confirmation of availability
Depending on the local time at the location of your desired service we will reply in the same day or the next day. If your requested time is not available we may propose available alternatives in the same day.
Deposit
Once your desired time is confirmed we will send you a link to process the payment of a deposit of 30 Euros, which also covers the first 15 minutes of transmission.
Final instructions prior to transmission
After your deposit has processed you will receive an email with instructions. An invitation to connect will be send from the telemediator’s skype account, please accept.
It is a good idea to test your microphone and headsets using skype’s built-in tests – same for the webcam if you will transmit video from your side as well (e.g. if you plan to talk face-to-face with people at a wedding, etc).
In essence what you will need to do is to be connected on skype, a few minutes before your transmission time and to accept the telemediator’s video call.
Telemediation/transmission
Once you connect please give the telemediator a general view of your intended plan. You will guide the telemediator, telling him where to go, what to focus his camera on, etc. For better interaction we offer the following guidelines:

Examples of things the telemediator can do:
- walk along the path you indicate, outdoors or indoors (e.g. in museums or shops)
- orient the camera in the direction you want
- facilitate the approach of people with whom you wish to interact
- place the laptop in such a way that you can engage in dialog/videoconference with people
Examples of things the telemediator will NOT do:
- Things that the telemediator assesses as illegal, embarrassing, or uncomfortable
- Trespassing, going to areas beyond a designated perimeter
- Expressing in any way that is offensive or illegal in the area of operations
- Purchase or engage in transactions without PRIOR approval from area manager and BEFORE a prepayment to our account has posted

Quality of transmission
The quality of the transmission is influenced by the wireless bandwidth available at the location. The resolution is not as good as when watching a videorecording from the camera. We can provide samples of live-video files in advance.
Many clients will be happy with the experience.
If however you desired quality of video more than it is possible in real time, one option is that we record (on telemediators camcorder) and we provide you the files (this is additional cost).
If you consider that the quality is not satisfactory then you could cancel within the first 5 minutes, and you will not be charged. We will refund your deposit.
Use of your own webcam
If your telepresence involves video transmission both ways, then please accept with videocall, otherwise it is not recommended you transmit video from your side since. If you do not intend to show yourself to people at the destination (which is however the case for special events, banquets, etc) then the telemediator will turn off the display (for various reasons including for power savings)
After transmission, feedback, charges and refunds
You will receive an email with an invoice, based on our record of transmitted time. This will exclude the time when the service dropped (image freezes) etc. We have no intent to bill for that time of interrupts when you did not receive transmission – our goal is happy customers. If you notice any discrepancy please let us know and we will correct.
We would very much appreciate your feedback after the transmission. This will help us improve the service. We will return the favor by offering you a discount for
If we do not receive a response from you within 24h, we will consider that you agree with our account and will process the rest of the payment (if for some reason you discover a discrepancy later, up to 30 days, we will work with you and correct if there was a mistake on our side).
If you cancel with more than 24 hours before the transmission we will issue a complete refund.
If you cancel during the first 5 minutes because of the transmission quality, or any other reason, no questions asked, you will receive a full refund.
Shopping
We will help in the shopping experience by mediating payment wherever possible and by shipping you the goods where needed.
Special Requests
Please inform us in advance if you have special requests: this includes shopping, durations longer than 60 min, itineraries which are beyond the central area, etc
